A surreal collaboration

Is it just me or does this new video for the Beck and Charlotte Gainsbourg collaboration kind of feel like a trippier version of a Wes Anderson movie? It’s absolutely mesmerizing.

    It’s like Short Cuts, if Ray Carver were less about the loneliness of the modern married suburban life, and more about peyote.

    And John Cameron Mitchell is apparently standing in for Beck these days.
